Let's wear Pyjamas for a CHANGE!

This term our focus is CHANGE.

This week has had a few changes... Firemen visited our school and showed us the effects of how water can change when special detergent and air are added...it changes into amazing foam!  This special foam can suffocate out-of-control fires.  Amazing!!!

On Thursday... for a change...we wore our pyjamas to school!!!  It certainly was a change!

Time to sleep!
Time to wake up!
Tomorrow it's bubble day!

Room 15's Hoe!

   Sharing our 'Hoe'.
We painted images on hoe (paddles) showing our Turangawaewae.  On the back are our Pepeha.  This was our final task to present our learning in a visual way relating to our Turangawaewae.

Te Hana Te Ao Marama

The Year 3's had a fantastic day at Te Hana today, visiting Te Hana Te Ao Marama.  For some of us it was the first time we had been on a Marae.  What a fabulous day and a wonderful experience.  It enriched our Turangawaewae learning in a special way.

A special thank you to the parents who were able to come and watch lessons and help with the speedy dressing after lessons.  Most appreciated :)
