Yummy, delicious Popcorn!!

Popcorn in a Packet is an example if Innovation!
No more messy pots to clean!  Tasty and delicious!  We made some and wrote down the instructions...  How to make Popcorn.
Steps to follow:

Step 1:  Take the plastic off the popcorn packet and put into a rubbish bin.

Step 2:  Unfold the packet.

Step 3:  Read the instructions on the packet.

Step 4:  Check which side of the packet needs to be facing up.

Step 5:  Put the packet of popcorn into the microwave and shut the door.

Step 6:  Cook the popcorn for 2 minutes.

Wait and listen for the pop, pop, popping!

Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop......

Step 7:  Open the door when the cooking has finished.  See how the packet has expanded!

Step 8:  Carefully take the popcorn packet out of the oven.  It will be hot!

Step 9:  When cool, open packet and enjoy!
Yum!  Yum!

Room 15 children were fabulous today in presenting our Liturgy to celebrate the Feast of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop. Well done everyone! :)  Mrs Webber is very proud of you.
I am sorry to say that I started taking photos and then got caught up in the Liturgy and forgot to keep taking more photos so if any parents have photos they'd like to share please email them to me and I can add them to our blog.  These are the few I did manage to take...

Term 3 has started with another busy term full of fun and learning!
Our topic is Innovation.
 Enduring Understanding
Innovation is a process of finding a better solution for a known or particular need.
God guides us to use innovation for the good of others.
Essential Questions
Why do we need innovation?
What drives innovation?
How can we use innovation to help others?
We have gymnastics with Ashleigh every Wednesday so P.E gear is a must. :)
Tomorrow Room 15 is leading the Liturgy to celebrate the Feast Day of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop.
It starts at 9am so please do come if you are able to.  All children are involved and we have put a lot of effort into preparing.  It's fabulous to share in your children's experiences at school when you can.
Thanks for all of your support... especially with homework and reading!
Pop in any time to check out the classroom walls ;)
