Heroic Wordles
Today we had a productive computer session on the Wordle programme in our ICT suite. Using our brainstormed words that describe heroes and heroines, we created really effective word displays.

The last of Enquiry sharing.
Kayley shares her water filter inquiry |
Kayley filtered that dirty water to clean! We couldn't believe our eyes. What a great filter! |
Sophia shared her inquiry focusing on how a candle needs oxygen to burn. If you put a jar over a candle surrounded by water, the water gets sucked up and the flame goes out. Very interesting, Sophia. |

Boston looked at how a ping pong ball can float. The changes in air pressure pushing against each other cause the ball to float in the air stream of a hair dryer. |

Room 15 are composers!
This term our art focus has been music.
We learnt how to play 'Twinkle twinkle little star'.
We learnt how to play 'Twinkle twinkle little star'.
Room 15's next challenge was experimenting with composing their own little tunes on the glockenspiels.

Mathias showed us how solids can turn to liquid by adding heat. Eg: Chocolate melts, butter melts. Liquid can also change to a solid by adding heat again. Eg: Cooking pikelet mixture. Yum! |
